Prof. Wilfried von Bredow of Philipps University Marburg’s presentation focused on the borders between political entities.

“Political and administrative borders regulate the coexistence of people. This spatial order is found in all cultures,” Wilfried von Bredow elaborated the principles of political borders at the beginning of his presentation.

What is the influence of globalization on political boundaries? How should the advantages and disadvantages of open borders be handled? To what extent is the EU with its internal borders a special case? What role do political religions play in the shaping of national borders?

Get the answers to these questions in the video of the presentation.
