Reporting

Dr. med. Hans Groth, President of Academia Engelberg Foundation, opened Academia Engelberg’s 15th Dialogue on Science. He stated that he was looking forward to three days of “walking a tightrope at the limit” both with respect to language and content.

The term ‘limit’ or ‘boundary’ or word games can be interpreted both positively and negatively or both negatively and positively – depending on the zeitgeist, personal and societal values, geography, demographics, geopolitical developments as well as goals, expectations, and demands.

Hans Groth was pleased with the renewed involvement of young scientists who had prepared for this year’s topic at Academia Engelberg’s summer school 2016. Click on the video to see the entire opening speech.
